Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure for Remote's global employment platform.
• Develop and manage automation tools to streamline operational processes and enhance system reliability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and functionality.

• Implement best practices for software development and system management in a cloud environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role within DevOps and Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across various teams and time zones.
