Responsibilities

• Lead the development, optimization, and enhancement of tools and analysis pipelines for ctDNA-based diagnostic tests, focusing on the detection of cancer-associated variants and methylation patterns.
• Implement evidence-based quality control thresholds to ensure the reliability and accuracy of diagnostic tests.
• Provide technical leadership for product development initiatives by representing the bioinformatics team in cross-functional interactions, guiding projects from research stages through to commercial launch.
• Collaborate closely with teams in biostatistics, molecular biology, software engineering, and commercial departments to drive product innovation and success.
• Mentor and manage a team of bioinformaticians and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Stay informed about advancements in bioinformatics and oncology, integrating new technologies and methodologies into product development.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in bioinformatics and data science, with a strong emphasis on the analysis or modeling of DNA methylation data.
• Established track record of project and technical leadership in a relevant industry setting.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with relevant bioinformatics software tools and programming languages is advantageous.
