Responsibilities

• Platform Ownership & Delivery: Take full responsibility for the technical execution across the Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Prism Analytics, and Illuminate.
• Translate business requirements into clear, phased technical delivery plans that align with organizational goals.
• Manage the sandbox strategy, oversee the tenant lifecycle, and ensure readiness for biannual releases.
• Hands-On Configuration & Development: Configure the HCM and Recruiting modules to meet the unique needs of the organization.
• Build advanced reports, including matrix, composite, and BIRT reports, as well as calculated fields and validations.
• Create and manage business process frameworks that enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize Workday Extend to design and build lightweight custom applications that bridge gaps in functionality.
• Integration and Security: Develop and maintain integrations with other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement security architecture and governance practices to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday Platform Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, and related modules.
• Strong understanding of Workday configuration, reporting, and integration methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in project management and agile methodologies is a plus.
