Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain client-side applications for an instant messaging platform, focusing primarily on Android.
• Build core messaging features, including real-time chat, group chat, media messaging, message synchronization, offline messaging, and push notifications.
• Participate in client-side architecture design, ensuring a consistent user experience across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
• Utilize AI-powered tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to enhance cross-stack frontend development by reading, debugging, and modifying iOS/Web codebases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through effective testing and debugging practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or similar role, with a focus on mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Android programming languages (Java, Kotlin) and familiarity with iOS and web technologies.
• Experience in building and deploying scalable applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of messaging protocols and data synchronization techniques.
