About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to take ownership of data engineering tasks, integrations, and marketing systems. This role is not for beginners; we require an individual who can swiftly comprehend production systems, independently resolve issues, and deliver reliable results.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that ensure accurate data flow for marketing systems.
• Integrate various data sources and ensure data consistency across platforms.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand requirements and provide data-driven insights.
• Utilize Python, SQL, and Bash for data manipulation and analysis.
• Set up and manage tracking pixels and conversions using Google Tag Manager and JavaScript.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and processes.
• Document processes and maintain data standards to ensure compliance and quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, pixel setup, conversion tracking, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Bing Ads.
• Ability to approach challenges with an engineering mindset and work effectively with production data systems.
• Basic understanding of BigQuery, ClickHouse, dbt, and documentation practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
