Responsibilities

• Translate and localize sports content related to football for the Croatian market, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to maintain the highest quality standards for all localized content.
• Research and stay updated on the latest trends in football to ensure content is current and engaging.
• Review and edit translated materials to ensure consistency in terminology and style.
• Provide feedback and insights on content performance and localization strategies.
• Work closely with project managers to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in localization or translation, preferably in sports-related content.
• Fluency in Croatian and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong understanding of football culture and terminology in both Croatian and English.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with localization tools and software is a plus.
