Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the backend architecture of the Observability Platform.
• Implement observability features across the entire cloud infrastructure stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability into developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities to improve system reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize performance across cloud services and applications.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data storage solutions for observability data.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices in observability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer with a focus on observability and monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with observability tools and frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
