Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the core networking layer of our cloud platform to ensure robust and reliable communication between virtual machines.
• Implement and manage secure and isolated private networks for customers, integrating seamlessly with public internet resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance, scalability, and security of the cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, providing timely solutions and improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying best practices in system engineering and network design.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations to ensure uninterrupted service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in networking and cloud infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of virtual private cloud architectures, IP networking, and network security protocols.
• Experience with cloud service providers and technologies, particularly in creating and managing virtual private networks (VPNs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with automation tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
