Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain components of our hyperscaler platform, focusing on the KVM hypervisor and QEMU device emulator.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance hardware virtualization and device emulation capabilities.
• Analyze and optimize performance metrics to ensure efficient resource utilization and system reliability.
• Implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure safe execution of untrusted code.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to virtualization and cloud computing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience with KVM and QEMU in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and low-level programming.
• Experience in working with virtualization technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C or C++.
