Responsibilities

• Consolidate and migrate customer data infrastructure on AWS efficiently, ensuring delivery within weeks.
• Utilize the Aedeon platform for automated source discovery, schema mapping, lineage extraction, and validation.
• Design and build data pipelines using AWS EMR and Glue, leveraging your expertise for optimal performance.
• Provide senior-level judgment in data modeling and architecture to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with forward-deployed engineers to oversee transition phases and ensure successful cutover according to project timelines.
• Assist clients in overcoming data program challenges, transforming unreliable pipelines into trusted data solutions.
• Measure outcomes and maintain production systems while retiring legacy infrastructures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, specifically with AWS technologies, including EMR, Glue, and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience with automated tools for data discovery and validation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Preferred: Previous experience with Aedeon or similar platforms.
