Responsibilities

• Act as the engineering lead for product initiatives, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Designers to define and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Engage in hands-on software development, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Work within a small, agile team to conceptualize, develop, and launch new features that enhance user experience across our platforms.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making to improve the overall system design.
• Utilize AI coding agents to enhance productivity and efficiency within the development process.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to align on shared goals and metrics while maintaining a focus on delivering value to customers.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to enhance team performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on product development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
