Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the implementation of project activities to ensure alignment with the strategic objectives of the World Food Programme.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations, to promote effective collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate project progress, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery and recommend solutions to enhance performance.
• Manage budget allocation and ensure financial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, preferably within the international development sector.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in using project management software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
