About the Role
As a Product Compliance Manager at our company, you will play a key role in supporting the compliance strategy and execution for our merchant capital program. This program is designed to assist small and medium-sized businesses in boosting sales, engaging customers, and expanding their operations. You will collaborate with various teams internally and partner with external third-party organizations to integrate compliance into the entire product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for financial products offered through the merchant capital program.
- Ensure that all innovative products meet regulatory obligations while facilitating business success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, and operational teams to embed compliance throughout the product development process.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to business partners on compliance-related matters.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial services sector and proactively adjust compliance practices as necessary.
- Build and manage effective relationships with external regulators and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in building and managing compliance programs is highly desirable.
