Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory strategy for stablecoin, digital payment, and asset initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assess and interpret cryptocurrency, stablecoin, payments, and digital asset regulatory frameworks, providing clear and practical guidance to business and product stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain jurisdiction-specific regulatory playbooks, including licensing, structures, partner models, and ongoing compliance obligations.
- Build and manage relationships with regulators, policymakers, and key external partners to support licensing, approvals, and market entry.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with evolving regulations in the fintech landscape.
- Stay updated on global regulatory trends and changes in cryptocurrency and digital asset legislation.
Requirements
- Qualified with 5-12+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with expertise in payment regulatory and digital asset law.
- Open to applicants with a background in payment regulatory or digital asset law; legal qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and stablecoin regulatory issues is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including regulators and external partners.
