Responsibilities

• Support Military Sealift Command (MSC) in maritime engineering and design projects.
• Manage structural form, strength, and stability of naval vessels.
• Conduct detailed technical analyses to assure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
• Participate in client meetings and briefings, providing expert insights.
• Travel occasionally to Chesapeake or Norfolk, VA for project-related events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in naval architecture or maritime engineering.
• Strong knowledge of maritime design principles and standards.
• Proficient in engineering software and tools relevant to naval architecture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
