Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Meta's leased and colocation data center location strategy.
• Manage the site selection process, ensuring thorough technical due diligence and commercial negotiations.
• Administer complex lease agreements, collaborating with various teams on economic development incentives and utilities management.
• Execute contract negotiations while considering legal, policy, and financial factors.
• Work with Site Selection Managers to create innovative solutions for large lease options.
• Develop new business models for AI deployment within leased spaces.
• Oversee lease management, addressing challenges and optimizing operations throughout the lease term.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in data center leasing.
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including real estate agencies and legal advisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data center lease transactions and site selection, preferably in the hyperscale sector.
• Strong understanding of legal agreements and contractual obligations related to lease management.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract administration.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically to solve complex problems.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams.
• Experience with economic development incentives and utility management is a plus.
• Proficient in market research and data analysis methodologies.
