Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall contract management function at the program level, focusing on custom contracting strategies and innovative deal solutions.
  • Oversee contract management tooling solutions and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Resolve issues effectively while maintaining focus on program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner with business leads to navigate complex operations and Capital Improvement initiatives, managing significant spending and risk.
  • Drive cross-functional efforts to contain contract risks and costs while developing and enhancing deal-to-contract strategies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and business controls throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business leads to deliver on strategic initiatives, aligning new contract strategies with project delivery strategies.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a legal or compliance setting.
  • Strong understanding of complex contracts and ability to manage risk effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex contract challenges.
  • Experience with contract management tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
