Job Overview
As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and closing new business opportunities within both established and new accounts across a diverse geographic territory. Your primary focus will be on multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and hospitals within your assigned area. You will act as a clinical partner and trusted advisor, collaborating with Sterile Processing Departments to address their unique challenges.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring outstanding financial performance within your assigned territory through value-based selling and exceptional customer service.
- Drive market share growth by assessing existing customer utilization and pursuing opportunities for new footprint expansion, fostering customer champions for ASP technologies.
- Build and nurture relationships with hospital customers where surgical procedures are performed or influenced, anticipating their needs and developing innovative solutions to enhance workflows.
- Utilize your business acumen to identify key opportunities for revenue growth and implement creative strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities to assess customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all customer needs are met and exceeded, facilitating seamless implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare market, specifically in surgical settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
