Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing pre-sales engineering organization.
• Oversee the technical and value-selling processes, including discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations.
• Prepare and deliver executive presentations and RFP responses.
• Develop and implement proof-of-concept strategies for prospective clients.
• Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to align sales strategies and engineering support.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Sales Engineers to enhance their performance and career growth.
• Engage in customer meetings, executive briefings, and industry events, requiring travel of approximately 25-35%.
• Utilize data and insights to drive sales strategies and improve customer experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical pre-sales role, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical solutions to diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer needs effectively.
