Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions using VMWare technologies.
• Collaborate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 to deliver innovative and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services.
• Work as part of an agile team to address complex engineering challenges and develop solutions that support the USACE vision.
• Ensure the security and integrity of cloud environments while adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support for cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Document processes, configurations, and changes in cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on VMWare technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, preferably in a government or defense environment.
• Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards relevant to cloud computing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
