Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions, including conducting legal due diligence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology agreements.
• Support fintech and technology-related matters, including data protection compliance.
• Manage external counsel when specialist advice is required to ensure comprehensive legal support.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless transaction processes.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in the M&A sector and contribute to improving internal legal processes.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in advising or supporting M&A transactions.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and regulatory frameworks, especially in relating to cross-border transactions.
• Proven experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documents and agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
• A proactive approach to work and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership in legal matters.
