Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on global trade compliance, emphasizing export controls, product classification (ECCN), and licensing requirements.
• Analyze and interpret complex trade regulations, applying them to business operations across the APAC region.
• Support the development and implementation of global trade compliance programs, including restricted party screening and customer due diligence.
• Conduct end-use and end-user reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Train and mentor trade compliance personnel across Greater China and the broader APAC region.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 to 12 years of experience in global or regional trade compliance and export controls.
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong and China/APAC trade regulations, with a proven ability to translate complex rules into clear, actionable guidance for business teams.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-border projects and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• A track record of building and regionalizing trade compliance programs effectively.
