Responsibilities

• Audit Leadership: Lead local statutory audits, ensuring audit readiness and managing the completion of financial statements while providing timely responses to auditor inquiries.
• Reporting & Tax Compliance: Oversee the timelines for local statutory filings across various European entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Month-End Close: Collaborate with the Europe Controllership and FP&A teams to manage the month-end close process, reviewing financial work against tight deadlines.
• Internal Controls: Own key SOX controls while assisting in the implementation of robust internal controls to mitigate fraud risk and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional finance teams and the India Shared Services Team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Travel: May require occasional travel to Germany for meetings and audits.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax compliance regulations across Europe.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading audit processes and managing financial teams effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders across multiple geographies.
• Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
