Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Specialist in Global Benefits Risk and Compliance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in establishing and overseeing Remote's benefits compliance function, ensuring our offerings align with global standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance frameworks for global benefits programs.
• Monitor and evaluate new and existing benefits legislation to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and audit benefits programs.
• Provide expertise on compliance issues related to employee benefits.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to mitigate compliance risks.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for compliance audits and reporting.
• Train staff on compliance policies and procedures related to benefits.
• Engage with external legal and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in benefits compliance or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of global benefits regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fully remote environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
