Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the planning and execution of features and projects within the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Platform domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the architectural design and reliability strategy of our systems.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Develop monitoring strategies and implement automation to enhance system reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices for reliability engineering.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate innovative technologies into our infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role in DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and systems architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different time zones.
