Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand and analyze the complex business needs of our enterprise customers.
• Demonstrate Fivetran’s data replication solutions effectively, showcasing how they can drive business outcomes.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, including identifying customer requirements and offering tailored solutions.
• Conduct successful proof-of-value demonstrations that clearly show the benefits of our technology.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Fivetran’s offerings.
• Act as a liaison between customers and the product team to communicate technical needs and feedback.
• Support the sales team in preparing and delivering technical presentations and proposals.
• Engage with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and facilitate ongoing support.

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably within the data technology sector.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Java is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
