Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer security requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Respond promptly to security questionnaires from clients to ensure compliance and build trust.
• Engage in customer-facing information security calls to address inquiries and provide insights on security measures.
• Work closely with internal Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Product teams to enhance the security of Fivetran’s platform.
• Continuously update technical knowledge regarding data security best practices and industry standards.
• Support the onboarding process for new clients by ensuring their security concerns are addressed during the initial stages.
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation related to security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a sales engineering role, preferably within the cybersecurity domain.
• Strong understanding of data integration technologies and security frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or similar regulations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
