Responsibilities

• Design and build internal tools, pipelines, and applications that enhance model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Own strategy and roadmaps for enhancing data science workflows and tooling across the organization.
• Design, build, and maintain Python packages utilized organization-wide.
• Evaluate and implement AI agent capabilities in tooling using frameworks such as MCP, RAG, PydanticAI, LangChain, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data science objectives and tool requirements.
• Conduct regular assessments of existing tools and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead initiatives to train and support data scientists in adopting new tools and workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to integrate innovative solutions into the data science infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data pipelines and internal tools.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques and their application in data science.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
