Position Overview
As the Wholesale Operations Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and innovation across the GRS North America Wholesale segment. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that our operational protocols are streamlined and effective, ultimately leading to enhanced service delivery for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative operational strategies that align with business priorities.
- Partner closely with leaders from various units including Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial & Data Science, Legal, Claims, Field Operations, and Technology.
- Serve as the bridge between strategy development and execution, ensuring plans are actionable with clear outcomes and accountability.
- Engineer the submission-to-quote pipeline, establishing it as a measurable operating system to improve efficiency.
- Enhance broker connectivity and embed AI-enabled capabilities into the underwriting workflow.
- Build the necessary data infrastructure and P&L visibility to track Wholesale performance at the segment level.
- Reduce operational friction by improving reporting mechanisms and driving operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations leadership, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience with AI and data analytics tools is a plus.
