Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical leadership and guidance for EHV Transmission and Substation projects.
- Manage the administrative, commercial, and technical components of projects in line with WSP’s core values.
- Oversee the overall performance of assigned projects, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and financial metrics.
- Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and management of expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate proposal development, project planning, and execution phases, providing direction and support to project teams.
- Conduct regular project reviews and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.
- Travel to client and WSP offices as needed for face-to-face meetings and project updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the power and energy sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with regional scope.
- Strong understanding of EHV Transmission and Substation systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work remotely and manage teams across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
