Responsibilities

• Support the engineering and design efforts for Military Sealift Command (MSC) projects.
• Manage the technical aspects of shipboard engineering requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
• Conduct detailed analyses and provide solutions for complex electrical systems.
• Participate in client meetings and technical discussions, occasionally traveling to Chesapeake or Norfolk, VA.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering technologies.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for engineering designs and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in defense or maritime applications.
• Strong understanding of shipboard systems and engineering requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• Must possess a Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.
