Responsibilities

• Provide direct legal advice and support to business clients, ensuring compliance with the evolving financial regulatory landscape.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various standard and complex derivatives documentation for both sell-side and buy-side clientele.
• Assist in essential projects that address current regulatory and political developments impacting the derivatives market.
• Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies while ensuring adherence to up-to-date regulatory standards.
• Support the development of innovative products and markets as applicable, contributing to the growth and success of the business.

Requirements

• A legal practitioner with a minimum of 2 years of experience in derivatives or structured products, acquired in either private practice or in-house roles.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Demonstrated adaptability to new situations and work environments, responding effectively to changing circumstances.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail in legal documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex legal concepts in an accessible manner.
