Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and convert business needs into scalable analytical solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain visually appealing dashboards and reports using Metabase.
• Define, document, and uphold business metrics, KPIs, and reporting standards across the organization.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for effective reporting and analytics.
• Create semantic data models and reporting datasets that empower self-service analytics for users.
• Validate the accuracy of data and ensure uniformity across all dashboards and reports.
• Investigate data discrepancies thoroughly and resolve issues in partnership with Data Engineers.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data modeling and analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with dashboard tools, particularly Metabase.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting standards is a plus.
