In this pivotal role, you will support the Payroll Manager in overseeing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities
- Administer and process payroll for employees in Mexico and Spain, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to implement payroll policies and procedures that comply with applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll-related inquiries from staff.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as required for auditing and management purposes.
- Support the implementation of payroll systems and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing issues promptly.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to payroll and HR functions as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in an international context.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance in Mexico and Spain.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
