Responsibilities

• Lead all financial controllership and day-to-day finance management for multiple APAC legal entities across various jurisdictions.
• Manage end-to-end finance operations, including month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee bank transactions, asset management, intercompany dealings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, invoices, payment requests, and other essential accounting records.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices within the finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on controllership.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards applicable in the APAC region.
• Proven track record in managing finance operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with blockchain or digital assets is a plus.
