Responsibilities

• Develop and execute state and local media strategies to enhance awareness of Meta's initiatives focused on small businesses and communities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Policy, Marketing, Economic Impact, and Product to align communications with local community needs.
• Engage with state house reporters, local broadcast outlets, and major digital/print media to promote proactive narratives and respond to inquiries.
• Manage competing priorities effectively while adapting to shifting timelines in a dynamic environment.
• Craft compelling narratives that showcase the positive impact of technology on economic growth in communities nationwide.
• Monitor media coverage and provide strategic insights to enhance Meta's public image and community engagement.
• Foster strong relationships with local media representatives and key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, briefings, and materials for internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations, particularly at the state and local level.
• Strong understanding of public affairs, communications strategies, and community engagement practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
